High-speed browsing and email access

Of course your connection supports high-speed access for web browsing and email services, up to 80x faster than dial-up.

Streaming Media

You can listen to streaming music and 'Internet radio' over your connection, as well as view streaming video services.  The connection is fast enough to support high quality video feeds from Internet sites offering them.

Online Gaming

Online multiplayer gaming works just fine, though you will not usually be able to host a game server at your premises.  (sorry - if you're a hardcore gamer wishing to host a server you should inquire about colocation of a server in our network center, or at a hosting service specialising in such applications)

Internet Telephony

VOIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol) telephone services (such as Vonage or Skype) will work over the connection, although we do not guarantee availability and quality of telephone services.  (for legal reasons we cannot - for example if your sole telephone service is through the internet and an attempted call to 911 services fails to connect we cannot accept responsibility)

VPN

Virtual Private Networking is possible as well to allow you, for example, to securely connect to the network at your place of work.  If you need INBOUND VPN from elsewhere to a network connected to our service you will need to contact us to discuss business-class services with a static public IP address.

P2P

Peer-to-Peer filesharing is allowed over our network.  However be aware that since such connections have the potential to completely utilize ALL of your connection bandwidth for an extended time, we reserve the right to limit bandwidth usage, reduce connection priorities, or take other measures as needed to ensure an acceptable quality of service for all customers.
